Web Push Notification is now available on Mobile Safari

Great news for all the PWAs because it seems Apple finally folded and gave us push notifications as of Safari 16.4 (you need to upgrade to iOS 16.4 to get it).

If you're like me, and this sounds too good to be true, you can try it at this demo. It will only work if you add the website to your home screen which kind of sucks but seems like a fair tradeoff.

The demo is pretty solid and it even gives you a CURL command you can execute from your terminal to send push notifications to your phone.

The possibilities, now, are truly endless.
